Gaming Code of Conduct
-
General Game Play
-
In game chat/text/voice
-
Never ever use the in game chat/text/voice to sort out your problems with other players this includes (but is not limited to):
- calling people hacks
- trying to convince everyone to kick a person
- Never EVER punish any other player (Team Kill punish) - doesn't matter who's fault it is
-
Exception:
If the same person deliberatly team kills you 3 or more times repeatedly with a clear and
deliberate act then you are allowed to punish.
This exception is void if you deliberatly team kill yourself - For example: you run over your own teams mines
repeatedly and get team killed.
- Thou shalt be mindful, respectful and couteous of thine teammates / Thou shalt not teamkill
- Thou shalt not "tbag" ("tbaggin") another team mate
- If you play a game and WIN: it is a good game. If you play a game and LOOSE: it is a good game too.
- Act in a respectful, sportsmanship, mature way. Do not act like a "Tool", "Tard" and/or "Immature" child
- You do not team kill any player on your team
- take screen shots and report them to the administrator of the server
- access console with the tild key (~ left of the 1 key) and type "/pb_plist" and get their PB ID and give that along with the screenshots to the server administrator
- Exception:
- A team kill is allowed If both of the following conditions are met:
- The person you are going to team kill is lagging the game by using titan AA guns
- The person has been warned 3 times in team chat
- NEVER under ANY circumstances vote to kick a fellow clan member on a public server, REGARDLESS of what they have done
- Camping an uncapable spawn point is acceptable if all other spawn points are taken
-
Transport(s)
- Do not bail out of transports vehicles on games that would result in the other occupants being killed
-
Ramming
-
"Ramming" is driving certain vehicles in games that are not designed to be used offensively
into enemies i.e. Ramming a transport helicopter into an enemy tank
Do not deliberately crash into opposing forces (e.g. Ramming a walker with a transport) - it is looked down upon in Wolfpack and is
not accepted
We do however have a gloves off approach. If the enemy starts ramming your team mates in a way stated above, it is acceptable start ramming back. we believe in a fair playing field
- Exceptions
- "Jihad Buggy" is the recommended method of ramming if the person exits the vehicle and then detonates explosives
- Parking a transport on top of an enemy sniper is acceptable
-
Ramming a transport is allowed based on the following condidions (game dependant):
- Public Server
- Only if a minimum of 3 other attempts(via different methods) at the target has failed and the person doing the ramming jumps out of the transport before it hits the target, rather then a full suicide run - this is to be considered a last resort option
- Clan Vs Clan
- When in a Clan VS Clan match, if the opposing clan start ramming with transport then it is considered "gloves off" and ramming is then allowed, but only until the opposition performs the act FIRST, attempts via other methods are still recommended
-
Knife Fights
- Do not start a knife fight without the intention of finishing it
- Do not run away from a knife fight without sufficient reason, wanting to keep your dogtags is NOT a good enough reason. An acceptable reason: people shouldn't be wasting time on a knife fight in a titan when attempting to destroy a console
- Trying to stab someone in the back is NOT a knife fight - but a kill with a knife is considered fair play (but cannot be considered a knife fight - note the difference between a "kill" and a "knife fight")
- If you pull out your knife when the other person has a gun, and then they shoot you, do not whinge about it
- Do not interfere with other peoples knife fights, when you see a team mate knife fighting with an enemy soldier you can sit there and get ready to cut him to shreads the second he wins but u should not shoot him before he has a chance to.
- Exception:
- If someone comes up behind you and tries to stab you in the back and as a reflex you shoot them - this is considered fair game
-
Practice
- During scrim/practice sessions members will follow chain of command by:
- Using the correct room on TS. This channel is For the CO, Squad leaders and ICs to communicate during practices. All other questions should be directed to your designated squad leader in game or via text wherever possible
- Do not fire your weapon (includes ramming) until the command "weapons free" is given by your squad leader, the CO or an IC on TS
- If the command "weapons safe" is issued, players are to cease fire immediately.
- Members will be given 1 warning then banned from the teamspeak room for 24 hours and removed from the scrim/practice and replaced.
-
Whinging
- Everyone - regardless gets annoyed at others game play - do not whinge about it, grow up and move on. (This includes A.P.M spamming)
-
Titan Defence
- Recon take priority for defending doorways and vents
- Recon need to be mindful of what the rest of the team are doing when using their C4
-
Titan Attack
-
When attacking the enemy titan do not let your friend get killed and do nothing about it just so you can get that extra point, if nothing can be done about it you do everything in your power to:
- revive your team mate even if it means grabbing their kit
- making sure whoever killed them gets what's coming to them, we win as a team...we die as team
- Recon need to be mindful of what the rest of the team are doing when using their C4
-
Practice
-
During scrim/practice sessions members will follow chain of command by:
-
Limiting their use of WolfPack Room 1 on TS. This channel is For the CO, Squad leaders and ICs to
communicate during practices. All other questions should be directed to your designated squad leader
in game or via text wherever possible.
-
Do not fire your weapon (includes ramming) until the command "weapons free" is given by your squad leader,
the CO or an IC on TS
- If the command "weapons safe" is issued, players are to cease fire immediately.
Members will be given 1 warning then banned from the teamspeak room room for 24 hours and removed from the scrim/practice and
replaced.
Cheating
-
Let me make it clear to every single member - cheating of any form will not be accepted, tolerated or condoned.
If you are found to be cheating you will be instantly dismissed from the clan - with no chance of returning. This includes but is not limited to "stats padding"
